Durante estos días, la comisión del AmPC, liderada por su Presidente Julio César Ávila Sarria y su CEO Michele Formonte, se encuentra en Colorado Springs, Estados Unidos, desarrollando una intensa agenda de reuniones y mesas de trabajo junto a representantes del Comité Olímpico y Paralímpico de Estados Unidos.

La visita contempla encuentros enfocados en áreas estratégicas como operaciones de Juegos, clasificación, alto rendimiento, comunicaciones, legado y desarrollo deportivo, además de recorridos técnicos por el Colorado Springs Olympic & Paralympic Training Center y el U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum.

🇺🇸🤝 Continuing to build partnerships that drive the future of the Parapan American Movement!

Over the past few days, the Americas Paralympic Committee delegation, led by President Julio César Ávila Sarria and CEO Michele Formonte, has been in Colorado Springs, USA, taking part in a series of meetings and working sessions alongside representatives from the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee.

The visit includes strategic discussions focused on Games operations, classification, high performance, communications, legacy, and sport development, as well as technical tours of the Colorado Springs Olympic & Paralympic Training Center and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum.

These opportunities continue to strengthen the exchange of knowledge and best practices, while opening new paths for collaboration to further advance Para sport and support athletes across the region.

🧗‍♂️ - The Americas will be represented at the World Climbing Para Series Salt Lake City 2026.

Brazil🇧🇷, Canada🇨🇦, Mexico🇲🇽 and the United States🇺🇸 will compete on 15 and 16 May in one of the most important events on the international Para climbing calendar — a discipline that will also make its official debut at #la28.

🇺🇸👉 - La comisión del AmPC, liderada por su Presidente Julio César Ávila Sarria y su CEO Michele Formonte, realizó una visita técnica al U.S. Ski & Snowboard USANA Center of Excellence en Utah, Estados Unidos.

Durante el recorrido, guiado por Robyn Hase, Senior Director of Medical Operations del centro, conocieron sus espacios de entrenamiento, rehabilitación y preparación integral para atletas de alto rendimiento y Para atletas de deportes de invierno.

La visita permitió al AmPC conocer modelos y experiencias que continúan aportando al desarrollo del Movimiento Parapanamericano y al fortalecimiento de futuras oportunidades para nuestros atletas en la región.

🇺🇸👉 The AmPC delegation, led by its President Julio César Ávila Sarria and CEO Michele Formonte, conducted a technical visit to the U.S. Ski & Snowboard USANA Center of Excellence in Utah, United States.

During the tour, guided by Robyn Hase, the center’s Senior Director of Medical Operations, they explored its training, rehabilitation, and high-performance preparation facilities for elite athletes and Para winter sport athletes.
